Coral Tree (Eleagnus umbellata Thunb.)

 The Eleagno umbellata is a small tree that reaches 4 m in height. Also suitable for forming bushes and being arranged in hedges. Very rustic, suitable for all terrains even without water. It also tolerates salt and stagnation well. On its roots it forms symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing bacteria, so it is a plant that transmits nitrogen to the soil. Also excellent in associations and permaculture. Its fruits are edible and very good. they ripen in autumn and remain in winter as well, feeding us and the local birdlife.
